Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and motivation to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) companies through an engagement using the company's senior supervisors at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric final exams.
With the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% in the registered pupils within the education sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
